frusciantes solo work has some sexy guitar work, but the overall product is pretty average tbh, much as i love the guy, he didnt deliver at the time as expected from him

Sure, his solo albums will never reach a level like "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" or "By The Way", but I don't regret that I bought them.

I don't like people who tell others what's good music and what's not. Everyone got a different taste of music and I like people who don't pretend to like a band to be cool and just listen what they want.

People will always have a different opinion on music. I don't like newer green day. To me it sounds like excrement. No need to get so defensive over it. And imo, if you like it you don't like "good" music. All music is opinionated and there is no reason to argue over it. I stated my opinion, deal with it.

You don't like to have to like all the albums a band has come out with to be a fan of the band. Peoples music changes over the years because they want to become more mainstream or they get a new singer etc. etc.
