The euro match scene as we know it, is dying. There just doesn't seem to be much 'going on' anymore. Practicing can just seems like a waste of time and the funmatches sometimes don't even seem worthwhile - (No one is keeping score, right?)
Well me and my team came up with an idea to make it a little more interesting, it's not flawproof, but hey, at least it's something.
Basically,
every other Saturday team sPecial hosts a 2v2 tournament. The 2v2 tournament is mixed with random and organised teams of 2, all different skill levels, to match it up in a 2v2 tournament. So far, it's been a great success and has proved to be very fun.
I host the servers on a VPS in london, and a hand-coded website for the tournament here:

Usually, it will start at this time:
5 PM British time,
6 PM German time.
The teams are funteams, you just find a mate and create a funtag with no letters.

#5 Tourney November 23rd Okay, so, say we finish these 5 tournaments, where do we go from here? What is the point of these? Well, eventually, we have plans to livestream each tournament, with commentary Etc. As it progresses, more players may join back to the game, as there is something to practice for. Then, as more players progress, them 2v2 teams could turn into clans, once there are then a lot more clans, 3v3 tournaments can be a possibility!
The benefit of livestreaming and running the tournament by that is, everyone who enters, just watches the livestream, all announcements of servers there and, newbies from pub servers don't need ts3, they just watch the stream! This way, newbies can see it being streamed and will want them to be on it, a good way to introduce newbies to the scene.
I see this as a good way forward and I want to just thank everybody who has participated for supporting these events, you are doing your part for the community just by turning up!
