Water effects
« on: October 30, 2013, 06:31:39 AM »
I just wondered that water refraction would actually make the game much realistic. If there is, I think we should make it seen clearly by people. Water effects such as splashes and waves would do it. For example, the higher the player falls from a place would make the splash bigger. Another example, when a player is near the splash, his goggles will have tiny water droplets and will disappear later like what happens in real life. Sorry for any errors

That would be cool but don't expect that to be implemented any time soon. Remember Jitspoe has to work on new AI, ranking system, and hr4 textures too.

I like the idea, especially if that would enable rain!

Yeah, it would take many years for jitspoe to apply it in-game

There's a feature vote for splashes when paintballs hit water: http://dplogin.com/dplogin/featurevote/feature.php?id=10201

Might be able to do a more general effect for players and other entities if I get to it.

How about "players" hit water and water droplets? Is there any?

Science says they would die actually, but yes water effects would make this game good.
