Nice tune
Well written
Lead synth sounds ugly the way it fades in
Not enough heavy guitar
Not enough grand piano
Percussion is a little strange but 'tis all right I guess
I like minor songs better than major in general (this is minor)
Where's the guitar, piano, saxophone etc. solo? A good song needs at least one solo.

No it does not, there are no certain rules to follow, just some things that work well, this isn't nesescarily one.

So you've never listened to jazz? Heavy metal? All those songs have solos. These days it seems like the concept of the "solo" is fading. Back in my day you'd never hear a song without a solo.

blaa, you're cute. Just kidding.

BaseballD00d, About the lead synth and the fading in, It was something New I haven't done. So I experimented. In no way is this beat done, or even mixed properly.
About there being a heavy guitar - I don't like guitars in my beats. Well, not until I find something decent and am able to tweak it to sound great. The sound you hear isn't a guitar. It's a synth I tweaked a excrement ton out of. As I do with all my sounds.
I don't feel it needs a solo, although I did have it in mind, I may rework the 2nd verse and add a solo.

But thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. Here's something more "clean" I suppose.

Neptune: nice riff but too repetitive. I was waiting for the changeup that never happened. However, good job, you're a pretty good musician compared to some of the others out there (justin bieber)

haha, thanks. I do realize I still need to perfect what I do. I listen to beats that come on the radio and it saddens me, because most of it sounds the same. But appreciate the feedback, once again.

Salute: nice song with a good intro.
Solitude: also really good
This Is Not A Dream: good beat but that synth kinda screams in your ears. Too high pitched I guess.

I didn't add it yet. Like I stated, it's not complete yet. I've added bassdrums, but I don't like them. I want a deep bass though, that hits hard.

Thanks! I don't really like the Highpitch sound anymore in that "This is not a dream" either. Could always go back and fix it.

Upright bass has a deep thumping sound and hits hard. I think that's the way to go.

We all pretend is actually painful to listen to. I don't like vocal distortion that much. I see what you're trying to do but I like the old capo better:D

This is what I mean, about the heavy guitar, percussion, etc. Although this song does lack a solo and grand piano.

Just listened to your new hip hop tune. Probably your best yet. The synthesizers flow well with one another.
