Players advertising in Paintball2 Forums?
« on: January 30, 2014, 06:47:32 AM »
I think this is too ridiculous. I haven't seen a game with players advertising websites such as this:

http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=13564

And this profile named Welcomebeybi or something like that.

I think this is crazy and they should be banned. There might be some malicious sites containing in one of the unkown profiles.

If you don't like it, there's nothing you can really do about it. Jitspoe can't go around banning all these random forum accounts made just for advertising that a player points out. He's doing productive stuff in this game, like better bot AI.
Just ignore the new players' profiles, and you'll be fine and safe from whatever content they have on their profile.

Deleted & banned.  It's all these stupid SEO (search engine optimization) companies.  Never, ever hire one -- it just promotes spamming links.

I've done about all I can to ensure bots can't spam the forums, but they still hire humans to go around registering on different forums/wikis/social media and put links in signatures and such.

I suppose I could completely disable signatures, but I'm not sure if that's what other people would want...

Give me the powa to sly these bots and promoters. Ill be known to these companies as " ToXiiC Thee Slyer". They will tremble in fear and cry to their mommys. They will sleep with a nightlight on. They will be paranoid to a new level.

Promoting more moderators has its own pros and cons.

Pros -

Can give the maximum security the game needs
Can help jitspoe to relax more and focus in developing the game

Cons -

Some people say they are bad moderators, so they email jitspoe, and jitspoe can't relax cause of that.
And here is the trick. Make a fake email, direct the link to the Global Moderator, and the Global Moderator acts like jitspoe, do everything he can to solve the problem, problem solved. ;)

NOTE: THIS IS ONLY A JOKE. NO HURT FEELINGS.

That is the end game of every spammer in the universe:

"Why, I, in this weak piping time of peace,
Have no delight to pass away the time,
Unless to spy my shadow in the sun
And descant on mine own deformity:
And therefore, since I cannot prove a lover,
To entertain these fair well-spoken days,
I am determined to prove a villain
And hate the idle pleasures of these days."
