GlobalGamers ran a successful league 3ish years ago, 8 EU teams 8 NA teams, I think 120 total participants. League lasted nearly 2 months. It had very few issues in running it, and was decently competitive.

@Baseballdude: Many people have tried, the issue is very few have succeeded to run a successful league. That's the difference. The thought of a league doesn't interest most people, as it's come and gone hundreds of times. People rarely follow through, whether its the person running it or the teams, it usually fails.

Jivc here. Been busy with life. Got into the Q2 LMCTF revival a few years back. Quickly realized i'm too old to be playing fast paced FPS like Q2 lol. I get a headache and dizzy from all the fast paced action now. Finished a map for LMCTF I left unfinished from many years just to say I finished it lol. Haven't done any Q2 mapping since and don't plan on it. Occasionally play Battlefront 2 now.

I'm friends with Borgus (went to school with him) though we don't keep in touch but every so many years. He's busy with life too.
