National Non-Speed Server Day!

It's just an idea, don't flame.

Pretty much every dedicated forum member on here is sick of all the same speed servers filled up with people and being the only public server(s) up.

We should make a National Non-Speed Server Day - kind of like the April Fools Wacky Textures Day.

It could be configured that the speed servers are still up, they are just not public for a day. Maybe a certain elimination time (60 for example - Thanks Clipz) could be the fastest respawn limit for that day.

But wouldn't that be great? There would be no spawnkilling and harder rounds! It would be great for the experienced players of this game and a good experience for the newer players. Everybody wins!

So what do you think?

I can change the elimination time on my speed server/turn it down for one day if other admins will do it (xrichardx, superman, otb)

If there is still a spawn time of 20 it's a speed....

The normal elim is 60 therefor anything under that is considered a speed.

No, all people should be allowed to play, it's not right to penalize people just because of what they think. It could be on just on certain day(s) where they don't get to play on what they want and have experience with a new type of server.

I would reduce respawn from 60 sec to 40-30 - 30 is just too long for newbs, 60 would make them not to play.
