Reviving the DP Community
« on: September 18, 2014, 10:58:36 AM »
Well lots of talk about unbanning players to help possibly revive this game. At this point in the game Jitspoe/DP has nothing to lose.

I agree 100% . Today at 13:00 were 0 players ingame out of 225k.. Something should really change fast.

We need more tournaments or events where people come together!

I mean look at last years #Spec# tournament!
That was just amazing!
I met so much people and could even talk to them! (Jitspoe including which is awesome!!!)

We need something like wintergames and summergames or every quarter a little event!

@unbanning players...
I don't think that it will help that much! These "banned people" are just a few and wouldn't really increase the number of active players that much!
Lots of people just dont play anymore because it can get boring after some years for them when playing as always... Thats why i think that events/tournaments would be a good way to get these people back on track!

I'd be more then happy to host a couple tournaments if enough people were interested. I'd love to see the return of the NA scene. Really I don't like playing in Euro servers however that seems to be the alternative. It's hard to catch NA players online.

I remember the good time on DcN Farbstube CTF!!!
That was awesome!
I tried smth like that some times before (general server with old maps) but it wasn't really good.

It was a decent setup, however I found that the commentary was pretty terrible on JMR's part. But as I've said I'll be willing to set up a few tournaments with prizes so log as enough people would be intersted. I'm sure se of these fine folks on forums would help me out.

JMR did things just fine yeah he could get arrogant but no one else cared to make a difference like him.

People said oh losing one person won't mean anything! Take  a look, the one guy is gone and it fell apart.

I agree, JMR kept life in this game even tho the community was soo small, but since he left the game it has basically died fully. Is there any reason to play anymore???? No Tournaments, Barley any clans to match against and nothing to match for i mean yeah you could match to be the best clan in DP2 but whats the point in that? This game has about 5 Active clan Including NA and no offence most of them are trash.

So one month of activity in this game makes up for years of inactivity?

I personally think that the continuation of tournaments will  be the key to getting this game not only a give but back on its feet. For those who are wishing to host tournaments please don have a excrement map list.

Shwayze, why not stop sitting around the forum and in a week or two announce your tournament? I'm sure then people will show if there's any interest. #stopMyerzWill #noBullexcrement #stopCancer
