how do i pick up weapons and how can i play against bots ugh and why isnt anyone playin?!?! thnx in advance

staying on topic to pick up a gun (i dont know exact console command) go to menu/setup/controls then bind drop weapon to what you want *i believe the default is 1* to make a bot game go to play/start new game then type addbot in console

did you go to "start game"? that only sets up a LAN game,i've never known anyone to join those. if you want to set up a server so that people all over the world can join, you should read this: http://digitalpaint.planetquake.gamespy.com/docs/server_guide_win32.html

Click update.  If you've already done that, make sure windows firewall isn't blocking paintball2.exe.  Also, make sure you can access http://dpball.com/serverlist.php

Go to the console (hit ~) and make sure there aren't any errors.  What are you using for a firewall?  You will need to unblock paintball2 in all of them if you have more than one (Windows, Norton, ZoneAlarm, etc.)

if nothing is blocking it and you still can't see any servers, than something IS blocking it.
