New Map : desertstrike_beta

Hey guys,
my friend made this map and we looked a lil bit over it and added some tweaks and i thaught I'd post it in here to get some feedback thank you and as I'm speaking for my friend we would conside it more as a clan map and not pub
all credit goes to C1ox for making it. I attached 12 screens as a zip and the map as bsp.

i think this map is simple, but it looks pretty nice ;)
nice ramps and some hides...

but its very simple.. (i thought this map is pretty nice but i dont know how other guys think, cause of this simplicity)

but i can see some fails where i think that destroy the atmosphere of the map her some pics:

- Picture 1: i think the small chest looks like a fail, and ive seen thats not the single one.
Idea: place the normal chest texture on the small chest (my mind)

- Picture 2: this wood texture on the sandfloor doesnt looks good
idea: place the sand texture on the woodtexture at the floor

You could swap the wood for a type of concrete, that could look nice!

but not overall, place it concerned when you do this! and dont use boring concrete, that destroy 100% of the map atmosphere!dont make thoughtless  steps...

Concrete would look a hell of a lot better then wood lol

i dont know.... when he place wood and concrete textures thougtly, then i think its gonna see pretty nice

Before you do anything else with this map, you need to fix the leak so it can vis and light properly.  You might need to adjust he brightness of the lights after you do this, as there will be reflected light.  It should look and play better overall, though.
