So I picked this instrument up at a thrift store for $2.50...

It's called an Irish Tin Whistle.  Similar to a recorder, but with a metal tube.  I'd never heard of one, so I figured, "Why not?"

Played around with it for a couple days, and this is what I came up with:

Sounds not-too-bad with a little reverb added in.

If you haven't already done it, I suggest cleaning it ASAP.

It was new in a box, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten it.
