Alright, im not totally sure whats up with this one, if its not a bug and something i did, let me know...This guy was the only one with this grey/blank skin.  Everyone else, bots/players had proper skins.

Other than that, i like this build, crosshair 4 is awesome!!! not my taste really, but funny none the less.  The whole game seems to feel slightly faster than the last build, yay!! nice work sir =)

Hmm, looks like someone was using a skin you didn't have or something -- if it does that again, look in the console and see if it says "couldn't load players/male/whatever" and tell me what file it couldn't find.

Did you incorporate any automated screen shot or the system into build 10? I'm a newbie when it comes to "whats new."

in window, you can't see "play" "setup" or "quit".

Belmont: no, I didn't get to that.  The new features are always listed in the readme.

eiii: That's strange -- they show up in fullscreen, though?  Is it always this way?  Have you tried vid_restarting and such?

Are you logged in?  Try it again,  Sometimes FP does weird stuff like that.

Actually, FourthX put up a mirror here:

when you load biuld 10 make shure you have it under the same folder as paintball2. thats NOT c:\paintball2  if you ha\ve it at c:\paintball2 then extract build 10 to just c:\ and that should work

A couple things I'd like to see fixed/added:
1. The mouse acceleration bug that Windows XP introduced.
2. Make the ID cvar display just the name, and not the model path/etc.

how 'bout id makes their name appear above their heads? it'd take some work, but would be really helpful.

and what mouse bug? i'm using xp and i'm just fine.

Windows mouse acceleration is added to sensitivity.. it's more of a preference than a bug.

After installing the Build 010 - client i can not see any characters in the game-options, instead i see only little square fields.
My graphics-card is a nvidia Geforce 2 MX400.

When i reinstall the 009-client, all is ok again.

Try runnig build 10 and setting gl_hash_textures to 0.  I wonder if it has something to do with that...
