I don't necessarily approve of sky changing, but as mentioned earlier, it's provided to everybody without making modifications to the game, and there are only 2 or 3 maps where it gives you an advantage.  I am, however, adding a server side option to disable sky changing, so that it can be controlled.

Hmm, I tried it in firefox and got that error once, then it went away after I reloaded.  No problems with Opera so far, though.

I did make a provision for the whiners to be able to use the q2 player model, however you must use the skins from the quake2 mod and the player model and weapon from your retail copy of quake2.

PiCaSSo, I was too lazy to PM you sorry. Anyways, I came back to my house tonight to view a PM from Derrek. It seems he has lifted my banes from all GT servers. I want you to know this, because I don't want to you ban me thinking im evading my ban. For proof:

<Derrek> have you been able to see the GT servers today?
<Derrek> well...let mw know if you have issues connecting.

I wasnt around to reply, but I can connect fine. I will hardly play either way, but when I do, don't be lame and ban me. Thanks.

Typing that out was probably took a lot more effort than the 1 or 2 extra clicks it would have taken to PM him...

lmao silly billy there is a big difference use your head and think about what ur saying before u actually say it

In a nutshell: If youmake changes to the game that give you an advantage over another player or team, more than likely you are cheating.

Look. If sky changing was considered cheating, why the hell would they leave it in the game?
For god's sake, are you retarded or something?

Why not just leave everything thats "ingame" modding in the game?  Why are things being taken out of the game because a few people whine about it?  If everyone can do it than it really isn't a cheat.

It's just unfair to those who don't want those "ugly" modells and to players which are pretty new to the game because most of them don't know that it's possible.
