Well, today I had my fourth ingrown toe nail surgery. Basically they cut the sides of the toe nails. I know LOTS of people have them. Maybe not many people here since they come from sports. Post if you have had any ingrown toe nails.

Weird question for this forum, but yes I have had one and I fixed it myself(lifted up nails with a knife and cut them off with toe nail clippers.)

i lost count at 12. i got them 4 at a time, numerous times. oh the pain... *flash back to doctor's office* i dont think the doc knew what she was doing. rotten scum...

implying that people here dont play sports, sadly you're probably correct.

My doctor atleast knows what he is doing. I hate them, a lot.

i have 2, but i keep up with them myself, i enjoy pain so i never mind cutting into my toe and cutting out the ingrown part. i do it atleast once every few weeks. pain is gooooooood.

I've had 3 ingrown toe nail surgeries sofar, last one was last christmas (I had my op. at the start of the holidays so I could rest for a week or 2 withoout missing out on school work), to be honest, I quite miss having them... They seem to have stalled now, but they could come back. I know one person who gets them anually since he was 2 or something...

not emo, just pain makes you stronger, and I enjoy not feeling pain. Getting to the point i do is quite an acheievment for me.

The pain makes you less tense when other things happen.

I doesn't hurt, just put a knife just under your toenail(like you would the bottom part of clippers) and just move out while pulling up and it pulls it out without ripping it. After that just clip it and be on your way.
