The true fix for ingrown toenails is to have the sides trimmed to the nail root, then have the sides of the nail root deadened so that they will not grow any more.

problem solved.

Nails are already dead, so yea. Just dont trim them so fricken much and dont let them grow so long. Not too hard.

lol knack i do cut to the nail root. then wait for it to grow back. problem is, i cut it to much lets say 1 out of 100 toes will get ingrown. well i cut mine 100 times in 4 months (yea i cut them most of the time everyday) so i get 1 ingrown every 4 months.

Every day?  I don't even know how frequently I cut mine.  It's just one of those deals where I look down and say, "Oh, I need to trim these."

Mine go for more. I mostly cut them when they become inconvenient/painful.
