1: say_person feature - postmortem

y00tz: I about started a vote for that myself.  This list is starting to get out of hand.  :P  I don't really see a need to limit the number of votes, though - certainly not that low, anyway; you've voted for about 3x's that many things yourself.  One idea I had would be to allow both + and - votes.  If the total becomes around -10 or less, the suggestion gets removed from the voting list, just to cut down on the clutter.  I'll go ahead and vote for that too.

New vote: Store the server name, ip, and date in demos (to help with cheater reports).

P!nk: We'll probably just end up using MediaWiki.

I second +/- votes, and a non-forum based feature vote platform.

Add me to that too. I think that should have top priority :)

Add me as well, or else entire pages will be needed for all of them.

And we need a vote to change Eiii's E back to lowercase because his signature implies he subconsciously wants it to be reverted. :D

as far as the voting system, here's a suggestion ... even having a static html page (which could even be updated manually) would be better than posting the entire list here every few days. and that wouldn't take quite as long to implement, i would think.

Way easier on the long run, since jitspoe wont have to be updating it.

I figured limiting votes (especially at 5) would let people vote for what they REALLY wanted to see first, instead of throwing votes at everything. (I imagined people suggesting stuff, and not voting for it, but others could)  I know I have more than 5 vote cast already, but if I just had a numbered amount of votes, I could decide which feature I wanted the most, then as some of those got chalked off I would have to evaluate and decide what I want next.

Anyway I'm sure +/- will work.

Request

Regarding: Models

If possible, raise maximum vertices from what I suspect now is 256 or 512 to something higher. (2048-8192)

Thanks,
y00tz

Surely it's already higher than that - the player model has to have more than 256 verts.

I'm referring to MD2's in that post, but even SKMs feel like they have a limit.  My first autococker attempt as a SKM looked fine, added some more vertices and it crashes the game.

Edit1:

And the MD2 limit must be higher than 256, probably 512 since my 600ish tank is too much, and old player models have 318.

I'd still like to see it increased.

Edit 2:

Regarding: This site

What if you occasionally switched out the background screenshot, like maybe monthly, as well as maybe change the color scheme every 3 months or new build or something, so that this site, which looks really good, doesn't grow boring after  a while.

Cheers,
y00tz
