SERVERS

Hello i just wanted to know how to make a server i made one but it dont show up on anyone elses computer so i need help on how to make one ppl can join

ok i did everything made the shortcut and everything opened it up and got in but i asked my friend to join and he cant find it what is the problem???

Chances are, your ports are either closed on the firewall and/or you need to forward them on your router.

If you just want to set up a game among friends, the easiest thing to do would probably be to grab Hamachi and set up a network.  People on your network will be able to see your server just like on a LAN.

I have a little question... I tried to configure my DI-524 router and when i was about to run over with a car i decided to stop trying and play on other servers.... Well one day i wanted to play in LAN with my bro so i clicked Start new game and. .... Guess what ?? MY start  new game was into the server list.... People coucl connect to it ? Why ??? Thx a lot

It might have just been showing up as a LAN server.  Only dedicated servers should show up on the public list, and typically you can't see your own Internet server.
