Hi guys.
I have a little problem. when i tsart a net server no one can connect. i don`t know why but even if i or my friends write the cmd connect 214.148.32.231:14023 (for example) the couldnt connect. the multiplayer settings are set on dsl so why the heck can nobody connect???? lan runs perfect..
i hope u can help me (sorry for the bad english ^^)

ok first things first if you have a firewall shut it off or open ports to let people join. if you have a router and have mutli computers i think you have to do port fowarding so that people can connect to your computer not just the router. if those are wronge then i dont know what else to say.

my firewall is off and i have no router so thats not the cause.   :'( anyway thx for the reply.did anyone else have some ideas??

connect 214.148.32.231:27910 , try that.. default dp port is 27910

If you have Windows XP SP2, I think the windows firewall is on by default.  Make sure you either disable that and your 3rd party firewall or allow UDP traffic on port 27910 (or whatever port you're running the server on).
