That's a lot of ip's. I even talked to the kid in pubs and told him not to, and when I had my .Ij. tag on he'd copy it too. Then go around asking people if they wanted to join just to piss me off.

Welcome to my world (of trying to ban people with dynamic ip's). You could try contacting his ISP, but I don't know what they'd have in the TOS against clan impersonations. Has anybody tried having a civil conversation with him and asking him nicely to stop? Hopefully it won't be too much longer until build 18 is released and global logins go into effect and cut back on this type of thing.

Wasn't there some talk a bit back about being able to ban someone's MAC address or their HD itself? Could you explain if this is possible and how it is done, in PM if necessary. Also, do you have an ETA on B18??

Subpoenas and or 'Denial of Service' do happen very frequently at AT&T.

However they rarely act without another 'entity' of liability reasons.

Anarchy & Picasso: There was a thread a little while ago where it was said that punkbuster does ban hardware. I'm not exactly sure how it works but I guess there is some way to get a person's MAC address and ban it. I also have heard that there is a way to get the serial number of the HD (definitely don't know how that works) and ban the serial number.
