Deleting posts does help as one slightly flaming or baiting post can cause the whole thread to degrade into a flame fest if other people read and respond to it. Kind of like extinguishing a match before it lands in a pool of gasoline.
As for euro mods, we'll see. I base my decisions on who I think will do a good job, not where they're located.
