Game Sounds Question
« on: August 26, 2007, 05:01:17 PM »
So I wanted to change my game sounds.

I thought it would be simple enough.

Remove start9.wav

Change and rename, viola.

But. I got this upon entering a game.

"start/start.9 is a stereo sample"

And everytime the sound comes up, it just says this message without playing the sound. Any Help?

is your new sound a .mp3 or something renamed to .wav or an actually converted sound to the .wav format, because it needs to be an actual .wav file or errors will pop up

You have to make sure the wav is mono, not stereo. I know Audacity can do stereo to mono..
