Mixed Martial Arts (UFC, WEC, etc.)
« on: September 07, 2007, 04:11:27 PM »
Hmm...last Wednesday (9/5/07) was WEC 30. WEC, UFC's sister company, focuses more on the lighterweights compared to UFC heavier weights. This Saturday is UFC 75: Champion vs. Champion.

Here are my predictions for the main card of the event (by weight class):

Welterweight:
Marcus Davis defeats Paul Taylor

Lightheavyweight:
Houston Alexander defeats Alessio Sakara
Matt Hamill defeats Michael Bisping

Heavywight:
Cheick Kongo defeats Mirko Filipovic

Light heavyweight unification title fight:
Quinton Jackson defeats Dan Henderson

Please express your opinion on MMA events or comment about my predictions. I will try to show my predictions before each UFC and/or WEC events.
Lol i posted a new topic name so ppl will know.

Just to let every1 who is not familiar with Mixed Martial Arts, it is a sport that includes some of the greatest fighters in the world. Each fighter is trained in different styles, such as wrestling, ju-jitsu, muy thai, and boxing. It is now on the rise and can be seen virtually everywhere in the U.S.

No heavywight predictions until my Ukrainians, can fight

Pay close attention when they get ready to fight and shake hands.

(The Emeliankos) in particular. Cold, nothing more than a days work.

Understanding the void is helpful...........................

i used to love UFC when it had more varieties of martial artist. now it seems to be nothing but strikers and grappiling. I remember when keith hackney fought the sumo from NY i think? he won but had to drop from the finals due to a broken hand. i still watch it occasionaly but not as often. it's starting to become just like the wrestling federation.
