Well if you are using to many colors you are probably getting kicked because you are going over the 30 character limit.

Remember each letter is one character and a color is 2 characters.

you have to use the name [pb]charger without any funny letters before or after it.

Furthermore, make a vote in the Feature Vote to get rid of this annoyance once and for all by voting for "Don't allow players to exceed the 30 character limit"

How about going back to basics? like quake3 only has 16 colors.. no fading. no gradienting in names. just simplicity

If you need color to express individuality maybe you need another name. I mean some of these names like ex. RandomGirl. Like seriously you have to be able to come up with something better than that, I believe there's even a website that helps you pick a unique name am i not right? Color is over rated but I have to admit taking colors away is probably not a good idea because of the effect it would have on newcomers to the game, me personally was exuberant when i got my name in color of course back then (which wasn't that long ago) you had to type in console "menu_setup funname"  but I like the idea of maybe 16 characters max but once again just my opinion.
