I did vote for new menu format also you never answered is there anything like this.........

Yes I did.  Just didn't directly say so.  It's not possible to do what you are asking.

Does this menu need 2d graphics, or is it possible to implement 2d graphics? because I could try and produce some if you like

What do you mean?

He's saying - your text menu looks fine; but he's asking if you need 2D graphics for the menu, and he's asking you if you need him to make some. :D

As many of you know, I make very small maps for holidays. I make the maps small in filesize because of the download rates, but build 20 is about to change all of that, so I just thought I'd show you the little KotH/Hannukah map I made.

For those who have played July42007, you know it's fun to turn on DM or whatever and play a map you're not used to, in a pub with 15+ players.  :P

Supports KotH only, requires CTP1 textures, not included.

King of the Menorah, you mean?

Perhaps you could make King of the Dradle for next year. :)

More skyboxes anyone?

I know Z started working on one with Blender, but I'd love to see some with trees, water, beaches, etc.

I'll see what I can pull together tomorrow.  Oh, and I made two with blender.  :)

The sky round the edge of the map. It is made by six images, one on each side of a 'box' of sky.

Man, that just reminded me of an idea that I had a long time ago, couldnt make it work tho but it would be awesome if modifications to the client could be made to make it work.
My idea was to create a skybox, and then use a render script to make the skybox have animation, wouldnt that be awesome?

Cobo that would be awesome.  With some moving clouds, water and such.  It could give some more sense of reality to the game, and would pull it farther from its Q2 origins.  I am wondering if some rscripts could do the job, it can make moving fire.

My guess it that it's possible, however I haven't tried yet.

Its not, I said I tried it myself. However I'm not very experienced in the use of rscripts.

I too suck at rscrips :P I cant even get one to work.  I tried to make my own rain with rscripts, but that failed.  The resource site didn't help me much with rscripts, can someone tell me how i would make moving images such a rain.  And y00tz mentioned texture blending was possible with rscripts? If we could harness texture blending, mapping quality would go up immediately.

Look at flame.txt in your scripts directory. It's all in there.
