Author Topic: Unable to Minimize Paintball? (Read 5173 times)

Hey for some weird reason I can no longer use the start button to minimize paintball to view my desktop my start bar comes up but I can't click on it I keep using my paintball cursor instead of my normal cursor any idea why?

Try using Alt+Tab.
Or...
Play in windowed mode and simply open the console and you'll be able to click on other windows.

Something that works for me is pressing Windows Key + D. It minimizes everything and goes to my desktop. From there you can see DP on your taskbar. However, Alt + Tab works best if you're just trying to switch programs.

That happens to me also from time to time. ALT+tab works fine always. Also you can uncheck full screen from setup so you can access star button than.

Why only 2? DaRKNeSS provided a valid alternative that was better suited for the purpose than alt-tab, although both work.

I didn´t know about Windows key + D. This was valid response. Maybe someone has more insights in key shortcuts so why shouldn´t he/she post it?

ALT+Enter toggles the full screen mode which is quicker than going to the setup area

No, that was just the plain windows key and most of the time that happens when I open it fron Xfire.

I actually would like to add minimize, maximize, and restore buttons at some point. It would be nice to play in windowed mode, yet have the game maximized to fill up everything but the task bar.
