Software for demos
« on: September 28, 2007, 03:47:13 AM »
Is there any software from which I can watch demos without launching PB?

So that software would require to support playing certain files that demos use.

Edited for grammar, if there´s more grammmar issues I´ll come back to it.

To watch a dpb2 demo you have to run dpb2. Vicious has some demo-to-avi converter suite of stuff, but you have to run dp to get the demo to avi format in the first place, and I don't think it was working too well before.

ViciouZ's dp2demo2avi converter works, and you don't need to download or install DP manually, but it's a little complicated, and your computer must have plenty of free space and be able to run the game.

I used to hate having to launch DP everytime i tried to watch a demo, because i had to search for it. Tinman made something awhile ago, and it is definitely a lot better then what we used to have to do. Here's the topic.
