idk... i still don't know what i am doing with my editing. i still haven't found a technique i am comfortable with yet. i love this new program i am using though.

it was hard to get the White Balance good enough for me to like. the lighting at the place was horrible, and i don't like using the built-in flash. i pretty much maxed out my 2gig CF card and only came out with about 13 shots worth editing. the shutter speed was a tad bit too long, and captured alot of movement. i was also shooting at ISO 400 most of the day. in the game room there was barely any light. i'm still trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.

i'm sure it's the editing that's not right. the composition looks fine to me. that's one thing i am happy with. it's my editing that kills it for me.

so idk..... meh.

coLa,

For some constructiove criticism, I would like you to take a look at this:

http://digital-photography-school.com/blog/rule-of-thirds/

It talks about the Rule of Thirds as it applies to photography.

I personally think it would help some of the composition issues I've seen in your pics.

Well I officially own a Canon 40D with battery pack.
Also added a Canon 50mm f1.4 lens and some umbrella studio lights and many other goodies.

pfft, i don't know where that will take you. that's not even my car, it's a friends car and i photoshopped a couple extra "X's" on the plate. glad you couldn't tell the diff. ;D

what do you think about the pic knack? you seem to be the only one giving me criticism. i'd appreciate feedback.

Personally, it's jsut a picture, not a photograph.

It just doesn't do anything for me. Alot of your others are much better.

I do like the Del Rio though.

and yes, I didn't catch the "X"'s

THAT'S IT!!!

Del Sol!!!!!!

Old age is a real b1tch sometimes.

OT:

I'd really like to find a Del Sol in great condition for my son.

BTW - you're welcome.  Not everyone takes constructive criticism well now a days.

well you're in luck... that delsol is for sale! lol. it's not "great" but it looks pretty good. nothing compared to mine though.
i love this car. i have no regrets about the trade i did for it. it's just a joy to have and drive. it'd be cool if you did get one for your son. i can keep an eye out around here, since you are in Texas. don't know if you'd be willing to make the drive though. i'd be willing to help out on the delivery. just let me know if you are really interested. you can find a clean, stock del sol for under 4k.

Off Topic: i like the del-sol's.. but would i rather have a Civic, Predelude, or Del-Sol?

it depends on what your goals are. "technically" a del sol is a civic. it's a civic del sol.
if you just want a nice car to cruise around in, then i'd suggest either going with a Civic Coupe or the Prelude*.
the del sol is a 2 seater. so if you have alot of friends that like to tag along, you'd probably need something bigger.

i'm not sure if you are into the "racing scene" so i won't get into all that mess. this is just my opinion. if you want to know more you can just PM me.

S8n: i apologize for the Off-Topicness.

Keith,

That first flower pick almost looks fake/photoshopped!

The depth of field is perfect.

Bravo.
