This is the very tip of a chute coming off the base of a big maple tree in my back yard. It is new growth.

A twirly viney thingy.

A leaf I thought had a cool looking texture.

So I played around with my dad's new macro lens a bit.  It doesn't magnify nearly as much (dime picture for reference), but still makes for some cool shots.  The (now next to) last shot isn't a macro - I just happened to notice it as we passed by and thought it would  make a nice photo.

Edit: Didn't scale one of the shots - oops.

Finally got to order some camera goodies.

Everything is coming from Hong Kong. Shipping is pricey and going to take 15 days. :'[[[ Don't think I can wait that long.

I already ordered a flash trigger and second receiver. I just need to order another flash, and I think I'll be set for a good while. Can't wait till this stuff comes in.

Where do get you stuff from?
Those prices look pretty low.
Is this place reliable?

I always get my photo gear at B&H because I trust them. Their prices are average.

Yah, I've known a few people that have ordered from here. It's just that since it's overseas, shipping is pricey and takes long.

The website is www.gadgetinfinity.com

I am amazed at how much shipping is.  I oder stuff that comes from Hong Kong all the time and the price is very cheap.

Well it is a lot of stuff. It's coming 15 day air.

When I ordered the trigger/receiver, shipping was like $5.

Ah.

All of my stuff usually comes postal.  I can typically get it in under 2 weeks that way.

Plus the stamps are cool ;D

Yah, they only had 2 options. 15 day air(cheaper)  or 2-day overnight or something(about $40 more). I think I can wait 15 days. I'm actually still waiting for my trigger/receiver to get here. Should be here by Monday, I'm hoping.

I haven't gotten anything in yet. Like I said, I should be getting the flash trigger/receiver tomorrow or Monday. I ordered that 2 weeks ago.

All the other stuff was ordered 2 nights ago. So, I won't see any of that for another 2 weeks. :/

Woot! Woke up to a nice surprise this morning. I got my trigger/receiver in!

I just need to wait for the other stuff to get here, and order one more flash.

Oh, and I picked this up for my car the other day. I need to order the hub adapter so I can put it on.

About the steering wheel.  Wont you get tagged at inspection time for not having airbags?

That's why i'll keep my stock wheel.... just incase! :]]]

Either way, those guys suck at their job in my area. They just want to get paid. Swing them some cash, and you can pass with anything.
