Being bored on a Saturday leads to setting up excrement in your room to take self portraits. I've never done this before and don't usually stand in front of a camera. What do you guys think?

1 Vivitar behind me at 3/4 power, 50mm/camera about 6ft in front, with another Vivitar directly to the right at 3/4 power with a slip on diffuser.

We had out 1st annual South Texas Tattoo Fiesta this weekend. I wasn't able to attend Friday and Saturday, but I made it out today. Not alot going on, but still had a good time.

Grabbed a few pics of some friends getting some work done.

Lots of photos from this weekend.  Pretty much everything was taken with my dad's new 100mm macro lens or my 50-200mm telephoto lens (I'm really itching to get something more powerful.  200 always seems to just fall short, and I end up cropping and losing resolution).

Just a few shots of some rec ball Easter weekend.

First shot is my son just after making a mad dash rush at the start of a round and hitting the mid spool and laying the paint down.

The second shot is a guy grabbing an Easter egg in the middle of a fire fight. Most of the games had an in-game Easter egg hunt.  Most eggs just had candy but we won 750 rounds of paint, a tube, and several sodas.

I had my 75-300 for sale for quite some time. Actually just sold it last week.

I thought it only went to 250.  How do you convert mm to a zoom level?  Is 400mm like 2x 200mm, or how does that work?

Jitspoe, what camera do you use like the name and the names of all the accessories you use with it. I don’t have the best camera but its ok; I have a "Fujifilm S9000" with a wide angle and a telephoto lens.

Nice pics Nathan!
mm are directly proportional...400mm = 2 x 200mm.

Get a 1.4x or 2x Extender.

FYI if you DO get an extender FStop is directly proportional as well...
QUOTE: For example, the Canon 2x makes a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS Lens into a 140-400mm f/5.6 IS lens - and yes, IS still functions normally. A Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L Lens mounted over a 2x becomes a 140-400mm f/8 lens. A Canon EF 300mm f/2.8 L IS Lens becomes a 600mm f/5.6 IS lens.

Anyone like squirrels? I took these out my bedroom window and I was surprised, the window acts as a filter and come out good in photoshop.
