Hm... Both look nice, but Cuso's picture feels more colorful.

I could not understand the directions as they were in german?

Yes. It means:

Introduction

Here is the first version from the new "Header SDK". It isn't final, but the photoshop file should convey the important things.

Rules

- The game-/sections-graphic need to be in one(!) own group, including all layers.
- There should be a dark background behind the ESL logo, because u can see the logo reflection better with it.
- A game model should overlap on the top side, but there need to be a distance from min. 1 pixel to the top.
- Nothing should overlap on the bottom side.
- Game logos should have a little distance the ESL logo.
- Do not edit the ESL logo.
- The header should have a background, game logo, game model -- keep it simple! Less is more!
- Turtle Entertainment need the photpshop file, before an ESL header can go online.

Thank you T3RR0R15T, but since I did mine in gimp, it probably cannot be used.  Waschbaer's looks the best so far anyway :P

Waschbaer's picture fades too quickly :/ Would look better if the fading would be longer. Maybe put up a poll later?

ehh, I've never liked that cartoon character, since he's not part of the game at all... I guess I'll fiddle around with one sometime this week.

Ye Knight, yours is overall well designed but you could have the splat and the player modell redone.
Splat:
-less edgy form
-border not white
-maybe drawing the whole splat would look better
Player:
-higher resolution
-higher size
Do it and be sure i'd like it very much.

ehh, i personally don't like it anyway. maybe i'll try what you said, but Skyline made a nice background for mine so i'll probably just end up using that. he's 10x better than me at photoshop, i just know the basic stuff. :/ thanks for the suggestions, though.

It's probably not necessary for me to OK every league or tournament that uses this game.  I doubt other developers do this.

p.s. Use pball/pics/m_logo.tga instead of the one from the website.

alright, me and skyline worked together to make this! (okay, 90% was done by skyline, but still...)

This one is NOT as good as your other, same problems as your other though,
1. Player Model is WAYYY too small
2. Did you use the logo jitspoe suggested because that might look better.
3. the thing around the model looks weird like it was colored on by a toddler
4 the .color streaks seem meaningless and annoying, maybe remove that

Overall good job, But your other is better
