Weird.. Seems like it would happen more often if it was a problem with a spawn point.  I will take a quick look at it sometime today.

You didn't do anything wrong.  This is some kind of bug and you posted it in the appropriate section.
It probably isn't related to spawn points though.

This is probably related to spawn points. Superman, have you made any spawns nearby to location where this happens? If yes, then try to move spawn away (even if it isn't in wall). I think that game code has bug/feature that sometime moves you from your real spawn point inside wall.

Well if he didn't create and ent file the spawns are fine. They have worked fine for seven years till now. Not to sure what the problem is but I can promise you I made the spawn correctly.

I haven't created an .ent for eclissi because it doesn't really have any spawn camping issues.

If there isn't ent file for this map, this changed things a bit. All we know is that this (only?) happens on purple side. Next time I play I'll try to reproduce it at myself by spawning on purple side, maybe I can figure something out... If I'm able to reproduce on Superman, then I need to see if it's possible to be done on fresh simple local server...

Clipz, is there something notable somewhere close to place where this happened?

The thing is the spawns are the same on both sides, so idk why a problem would happen on one side and not the other.

Maybe delete the map file and re upload it.

Well, I briefly checked spawnpoints on my server, and there doesn't seem to be any problem with map itself. I think this can be a weird bug in server, or just server malfunction. How long was server running when this happened?
So far this is too hard to reproduce to fix it...

No .ent for carpathian on my servers.

I had a quick look for errors in the server log and didn't find anything.

I think it must be related to your servers Superman. Do you restart your servers frequently? Can you try restarting or have tried restarting them (those whose have spawn problems)?
Problems you encounter may be related to memory corruption or files corruption.

I wonder if there's some kind of bug with .ent files causing bad spawns on subsequent maps or something...

Next time this happens, type "lastmap" at the console, which should display what the last map was.  Perhaps it's caused by a certain sequence of maps.

No I wouldn't do something like that =p.  I think it is a bug in the current build, it has happened on a few others maps.  It also happened to me once on a local game.

Are you using the same build locally as you are on the server?  Seems like something bizarre is happening just for you.  Maybe some file is corrupted somehow?  Perhaps you should try a fresh install.

I had the same thing happen on pbcup a while ago, I'll have a look for my demo tomorrow :)
