Graphics doesn't mean anything for me. I am often playing on laptop but with my PC or even laptop i can use 1920x1080, all settings on maximum, and still get decent 300 fps. And no matter what i will still use 1280x720, and lowest settings, more fps, better/smoother game, better gameplay, your performance in aiming/jumping will be better. + If your mouse (pointer options), exactly pointer speed is on 6/11 it will be great for gameplay.  Going over 6/11 in Windows sensitivity, will result in skipped pixels. At 8/11 two pixels is occasionally skipped and at higher sensitivities, the minimum mouse movement becomes multiple pixels. At lower Windows sensitivities, certain amounts of movement are thrown out, but minimal mouse movements still results in 1 pixel of movement. Enhance Pointer Precision turned off is also great thing, on low resolution for example 1280x720 you can feel in your aim every pixel on your screen, so your aiming precision will be better. Imo, lower resolution and low graphic settings are big advantage if you can set it up correctly. Who will take this game serious will prioritize performance instead of nice game look.

Yes they do. For example: i started playing. Then my PC went down and i couldnt reapir it. And then i bought a new PC. And in that space of time, when i couldnt play, i felt that there is a lack of hapiness i my life cuz i couldnt play THE game. And thats why i am here. Thats why i play this game. I feel a passion for this game

Just set m_rawinput 1 and you don't have to worry about all of that (in Paintball2, anyway).

If you're getting a solid 300fps, I don't see the point in lowering settings, since your monitor can only display 60hz, anyway.

Yep, m_rawinput op ^^

Some gamers prefer lower settings, eg: even in CS:GO pros use 4:3 with 1024x768 (or w/e is the resolution), since the picture is kind of zoomed in and its easier to spot people. Has nothing to do with improved mouse movement tho, especially if running incorrect aspect ratio (4:3 on 16:9 monitor) since if you stretch it your X mouse movement is gonna be 'fake' compared to Y movement.
Tho, the more 'real' reason they use it, is that they are used to it from CS 1.6 where 16:9/16:10 wasn't even a thing. It all comes down to preference in the end, since the advantages you get are really neglectable (why is this word underlined as incorrect? Its the correct spelling isn't it?).

Just to comment on this topic, The fact that someone looks on these forums, posts on these forums, checks serverbrowser, or plays DP technically means you care about the game.

Honestly I would miss the game I haven't played in forever and always get urges to but no one I know plays anymore, I was never the best member in the community but I can't lie I really loved this game.

I used to play this game religiously. And when I got banned with ij I thought to myself this game is going to die and I would never come back. Dead wrong I have played this game since 05 and it's still one of my favorite game. I've found multiple homes and have shared secrets with people in this game when I felt like there was noone else I could go to. All in all this will always be one of my favorite games of all time.
