He's saying inside the loop he's voting for it and I'm incrementing that so the vote is increasing by 2 each time the loop loops.

Also vote for. There's server-side demo recording build into quake2, isn't there? But the .dm2 files it produces are unreadable or something, which makes it SUPER useful.

As I map more and more, I'm for a map format supporting models (w/ collision detection), and I would like to be added the vote for it.  I realize this means giving up BSP and classic maps...

Some day in the distant future, I'd like to make the engine foliage friendly.  By this I mean have different levels of details for trees, bushes, and the like, and turn them into billboards at a distance to conserve polygons, allowing for things like woodsball fields with lots of trees.  I believe Far Cry uses this method.

I could be wrong, but I don't think "new map format" covers that. If so, oops.

Since the game has global login profiles, why don't you add a few extra fields to the database so that people can add relevant information to their profile, such as maybe a field for their Xfire name.  And for clans you could add a field for their VoIP servers (TS etc.) and maybe their DP Server, of course, it's all only relevant if applicable to them.

This way, searching Player X on the GLS would bring up their Xfire name, and searching Clan Y on the clan list would turn up their TS server, if they wanted it public.
