Ok, thinking I was spoofing I can understand, but kicking me for doing well -- that's completely uncalled for, and that was before I even changed my name to give any inclination of wrongdoing.

I've attached a demo of the event.

Heh, I had some bad runs and some good runs, and then I got kicked. I guess it doesn't save the kick message in the demo.

1) I had a torrent open and I was playing on my 400mhz machine.

First of all I am dejected at the thought of you using any other name besides Jitspoe when playing your own game ex specially with players you know and on a server you basically control wtf is that? So I considered this an act that does not befit you. Thus the kicks. You as much said for me to do this in light of you not wanting or considering a GLOBAL LOGIN a good thing, like this forum is.

I called out to you on the previous map (Antioch) to name yourself as Jitspoe for I have talked with player on your server named "testing" you never said a word. NEVER SAID A WORD Do you understand what position that puts me in as a responsible admin knowing someone is not acting their normal behavior? Before which you witnessed the clan talking bs and me kicking people that were asked to stop spamming chat, they broke a server rule.

Again not befitting your behavior as a responsible gamer let alone a the person of integrity i thought you were.

I booted someone I thought was spoofing you "testing" at the time for Jumping and flying at 70+mph to suddenly stop in mid air and fire a shot that did not curve in the least and kill me then continue to fly up as if no slow down in the inertia. I don't care what can be explained that is beyond q2 physics unless there is a glitch and with a 1.9 amd 64meg nvidia card with a 20ish ping there should be none of that.

I am surprised not horrified this is you speaking to me about spoofing and cheating etc as if I dont care about such things.

I will bring more edits and show you my SS and explain what exactly I did what I did.

He was unfair, but it was his server and I was there for most of those Perm bans, which btw I cant why?

Consider this also by all accounts you and others told me to kick when last I complained about spoofing they laughed at me when "Jitspoe" being spoofed was mentioned. I dont recall but I can quote the thread.

btw you were not warned. smokey for talking clan stuff , red x for cheating were the only ones warned , smokey got kicked for not listening to shut up and play

I don't recall you asking me to change my name, and I just replayed the demo and didn't see it there either. I guess it must have been when I wasn't looking at the screen and before I started recording. The only mention of my name I saw was, "jits said smell his toes", which... I don't think was response-worthy. But even when I did change my name to jitspoe and reconnect, you kicked me again.

I don't know what people spamming has to do with my integrity... that was a pretty off the wall comment.

The stopping midair thing happens when packets are dropped. That was probably due to my torrent.

I'm not speaking to you about spoofing or cheating. I'm speaking to you about kicking people who are playing well, or rather jumping to the conclusion that somebody is cheating and kicking them when they're not, which is exactly what snipen did. Poor judgment. Obviously not to the same degree, but from my point of view it's the same deal. Really, do you have any idea how frustrating it is to be doing well only to be kicked?

My name was "testing" because, as it implies, I was testing stuff. Actually, I wasn't tonight, but I just needed a break from paintball2-related stuff just to actually play paintball. I conveniently had my name as "testing" still, and since I wanted to avoid being bugged about the new build, dpcon pics, etc., I just left it. I was playing to take a break, not get more of what I was trying to get away from! I might have changed it, but after your "BOW DOWN!" comment, I figured I'd just keep it on to see how you managed the server when I wasn't around. And I got kicked when I started doing well.

how hard was I on you really? You were lagging out, it was a the number one server rule. Even evil665 at 400 ping was not lagging all around. Your were streaking across the map.

That is rule numero uno read it that is why I posted it.

Loial, you were out of line, though jits shouldn't have been playing with a torrent running. It did seem suspicous that someone would do really badly, then really well all of a sudden and be lagged... but meh.

All I did was play. You kicked me without even stating a reason and claimed I was a cheater and a spoofer. That seriously upset me. You ruined my night.

What if I were a new player checking out the game and happened to be skilled from playing quake2 and/or other FPS games. After a few rounds, I finally get the hang of it an start kickin' butt, then BOOM, I'm kicked from the game for no apparent reason.

Jitspe im not sure what happened but I posted a reply its gone but here is the short of it.

I am sorry you should be to. But I only hope your man enough to acklowedge what you were doing was wierd and that you understand now that I was not kicking you for doing good, that btw had to have been your first emotional responce. Ok too would have also been upset.

I over reacted to something I consider very very wrong spoofing and cheating which by all accounts you were to me. I was trying to protect the server and your name from besmirchment. This is not the server for cheats and clan wars. I will do the same again if any I think is cheating, however I will warn next time.

I can see your intial reaction to me kicking you was warrented but not the SNIPEN remark, dude comon.

I asked you to id your self several times this has been docmented in my other thread. Why did you completely ignore me? Common curtisy is to say hello to players you know and to say ns when someone kills you. A lot of you missed that class huh?

I kicked someone who I thought was spoofing first and visualy laged a full second then killed me then kept moving, that is my side of the story. That has to be on the demo its was when the first kicked happend. What was I supposed to do but nip that crap in the BUD. I stand by my desision, had I known it was you before you lagged me I would have laughed and ask you to stop cheating just I had done all night WARN. I did warn SMOKEY before he got booted.

BTW WTF IS A torrent? And why would you use one knowing it might interfere with gameplay.

What file types are the DEMO'S?

In retrospect, I can see why the lag was questionable (wish somebody had a demo of it so I could see how bad it was for other people), but from my point of view, I wasn't doing anything abnormal. I don't see where you're getting the spoofing/cheating from, and you can't go kicking everyone you think might be cheating, because chances are, they're not.

From my memory and my demos, you didn't ask me to ID myself, so you must have done it when I wasn't paying attention and before I started recording. But why does it matter who I was? Even if it weren't me playing then, there was no claim to be anybody. What if my regular online name actually was "testing?"

The demo format is .dm2, yes. Put it in paintball2\pball\demos (you may need to create the demos directory), then load up pb2 and go to Play / Play Recorded Demo.

As for torrents, they're a peer-to-peer transfer method in which you connect to a group of people and they all transfer bits of a file to each other, so you're downloading parts of the file you don't have from some people and uploading parts you do have to others. Running a download while trying to play is not fair in regards to a visual perspective, lag will kick in at some point. Its A dice roll who suffers you , the server or the players? again this is regarding playing and downloading you dont know when that huge spike is going to muff things up bud, I know you know you were taught this in" latency 101 "
