Do you leave the console(black box) at all times during this and also do you have public 1 set in your server config?

You have to start a map before anyone can join your server.

Did you check if you started a map (I need to add that check to the server troubleshooter...)?

EDIT: \xFF\xFF\xFF\xFFstatus\n doesn't return anything if there is no map playing. I guess it's not that then.

If you're checking if you can see your own server, this doesn't really matter. You might not necessarily see your own server, but others will.

Even if you are using the stand-alone server browser?

Well, I'm not sure about that.

I'd suggest going to DP Resource and using the server list browser... but my domain is being renewed (or rather DNS caches are being updated).

Go here: http://whatismyip.com/ and get your ip
Then go here: http://www.dplogin.com/serverlist.php  and see if your ip appears on the list.

The troubleshooter already checked if it was on the server list, and it was. o.o

EDIT: Nevermind. Freakin' thread hijacker.

Since my domain with the server troubleshooter is being renewed... <_< Let's do this by hand.

1. Did you put +map <somethinghere> when you started the server?
2. Is public set to 1?
3. Did you forward your ports?
