I like the map its sweet but one thing with room with autococker you can't get in through the tunnel and whats with the white square there?

- For whatever reason, the barrels seem excessively large in this map. Probably because it isn't as open as most. This might be a good time to push more realistic proportions. Real barrels/drums are about half that size (round up to about 32 units tall -- you'd have to crouch behind one for cover).
download it and put it in the pball/demos folder

Hmm, the grid-y stuff on the ramps looks a bit too thick for my tastes. >_> I'd say, make it half as wide? A third?
- Several impossible structures -- like the ceiling above the metal bridge -- there's nothing holding those center details up. The edges just touch.

I think the max numportals for a fine working compile are around 6500. Detail the barrels and other things for lower numportals.

Did you set the detail flag on those barrels?
Also, try setting the chopcurve up to help with the lighting.

ArghRad is the lighting part, so it have nothing to do with VIS and also nothing with the numportals, i think.

With the barrels the right size, the bricks look HUGE.
The new bridge looks better, but it looks like it's just sitting there not attached to anything.
a) Use a different texture.
