True, Netherlands dissapointed me a bit today, was expecting much more.
Most Euro teams loose when they are contraplayed with pressing on mid. Still, tourney still have alot of days to come, France is hopefully out, England aswell (this is for Lekky
). First rounds don't mean excrement, elim rounds is where experience of playing lots of tourneys kicks in. That's why altough Argentina is one of my all time favourites I don't see them winning because they will loose due to their coach who proved he has 0 tactical knowledge. And you can't win WC only by playing with heart. Spain is still IMO no1 favourites. Regardless the loss against Neutrals, they dominated the field, ball sometimes just doesn't wanna go in.

It wasn't in a sence of making fun, I just lost every bit of sympathy I once (long time ago) had for their football, especially after this whole Ihateyou Youhateme excrement and especially after Henry's hand against Ireland. He was one of my fav players, after that 0 respect. IMO football is a sport with minimum sportmanship.

You can just hope you will see alot of goals from Brazil, they changed their gameplay, now they are more concentrated on defense. Rarely you will see alot of goals in any group, especially in elim rounds.

Just saw Fox post above mine, I wasn't ggaming you, I was just realistic, Australia won't be ahead of Serbia, Serbs have exeptional team with very good coach, combination of youth and experience, their only weak line is FC.

Germany no matter what will be in semis, this way or the other. Only time when they had great team and didn't go to semis was in France 1998 and that's because we had alot of luck to withold first 45 min of their pressing. They are just to persistant not to be in there.

Australia won't be ahead of Serbia in Fox brackets. Serbs have really good team for this WC. I mean LMFAO, Australia infront of Germany? Right there your bracket fails, even if that is realistic (more purely optimistic), England wouldn't beat Germany. Their form is down.
Would put SK or even Nigeria infront of Greece, Urugvay infornt of Mexico.
All in all, pretty bad bracket. NT anyway.

« on: May 12, 2010, 01:02:50 AM »I have been on for a couple of hours a night the last few nights. But the reality has changed. There is no longer a consistent North American pub presence. Some times you have to sit in a server a while to get even a few people in a pub.
This doesn't bode well for any future clan activity.
And it will probably drop down further more. Unfortunatelly, game engine is far to obsolete to attract new people in while other free games are using newer engines and free games are looking better and better. Go back couple of decades ago, would you play wolfenstein or quake if you had both games for free for online playing?
Having 50% of clan scene banned and assuming other 30% are using hacks does not do anything good for revival of match scene aswell.
But anyway, good luck, I allways supported Int and will do in the future.

If you're actually dedicated to teaching these players how to strafe and all that, you should at least be in the same clan. You don't need a clan to train new players, you can just get them from a public server or speed server and teach them a few tips. Giving them a clan doesn't prove anything, doesn't make them any better as a person or anything. Sure it gives them a little dplogin experience, but nothing else.
A question for you dedkok: If you are really dedicated in this training clan, which to me you seem to be, then if your current clan *STaRz* had a 3v3 match including you and 2 other STaRz members, but a trainee like Nivins wanted to learn how to triple-jump, what would you say to him? Something like 'Yeah ok, let me just match with STaRz first'..?

Kyuu, this game is not a full time job. If he does wanna do it this way, let him. He stated above that don't bother him with how this doesn't gonna work.
And the game itself is waaaay more inactive then before GLS. That's a fact. At least EU scene. Back on topic now.
