When me and SuMMit were banned, we played a few times at the start on private servers and were warned that if we continued our ban times would be reset. It was a legit offline server, also didn't Ricks ban get reset multiple times for the same thing? Or was that for something else?
I'm not going to comment on the rule, but I just figured if we were warned about it a year ago, then something would happen to people who do it by now. He's matched multiple times on it, he even makes videos about him on offline servers:
http://www.youtube.com/user/ChrisJablonsky#p/u Actually I changed my mind, I'm going to comment on the rule: If you were actively matching/scrimming with your team/ringers against other teams, staying part of the community as if your still in it, then yeah i'd consider it evading in a way. But if you say... made a map and opened a private server to show some people and you fool around on that map or something along those lines, then no I wouldn't consider it a type of evasion. But where would you draw the line? There really aren't clear rules on the subject, but I guess the committee/jitspoe will decide.
