Hm, looks like you tiled it and added some color variations. I think this would work better with RScripts, having one layer be the grass, and another be the color variation. Then you could have the variation be low res, but scaled large, and it wouldn't have the tiling problem at a distance and you wouldn't be using as much texture memory.
Please do rotate the branches/leaves
Cool, but why did you tile y_newrock34.jpg 4x's? Why not just have it 1/4 the size and let the renderer do the tiling?
